Dramatic Tiny?

Is it possible that my daughter is the most dramatic girl I know?

She's been a pretty good sleeper lately (sleeps FOUR hours at a time at night!) That's a happy thought. But this morning she thought it'd be fun to wake up at 7am (which is pretty typical; she's hungry, right?) No! She just woke up and stayed up. Until TEN am. Crying. And stretching. And sometimes just laying there. But mostly making little whimpering noises. And we all might think: Well Emma, there was obviously something wrong with her. Was she dirty? Gassy? Cold?
No no dear friends - she was just being plain d-r-a-m-a-t-i-c.

So 3 hours later I finally decide I've gotta get going on the dishes or something. I grab her, put her in her swing (she can keep whimpering in there), turn on her music and ... what's that? Silence?

My tiny girl had FINALLY fallen asleep. (And still is!) :D

Wide-Eyed Beauty

Annabelle does sleep a lot, but when she's awake - she's awake! (Usually starts around midnight. My favorite.)

Here are a couple photos of her beautiful blue eyes:

Update Time!

So... somehow this post got deleted? Here goes again.

We had a BABY! :)

Tiny girl came November 26th at 15:25pm. She weighed 7 lbs and was 19.5 inches :) Our perfect little girl

Her favorite things to do are:

-Eat
-Sleep
-Poop
-SMILE!
-Not sleep in her own bed, but ours.
-Pee on EVERY outfit I put her in :)
-And last but not least: This tiny is a CUDDLER and looves to be held!

Her first smile on camera:

Kitchen Success!!!!

Can you believe it? I've actually made some pretty tasty dishes lately! And sharing is caring so here they are:

Creamy Chicken Enchiladas (Jake's FAVORITE!)

Oven: 350*F

-Cream of Chicken Soup (1 can)
-1 container sour cream (8 oz.)
-1 1/2 cups salsa
-2 tsp chili powder
-2 cups shredded chicken
-1 cup Monterey jack cheese
-10 tortillas
-1 medium tomato
-1 can black beans
-1/4 diced onion

Cook and shred 2 chicken breasts. Mix soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup salsa, and chili powder. In separate bowl mix shredded chicken, cheese, remaining salsa, onion, black beans. In greased pan place tortillas filled with chicken mixture. Top with cream of chicken soup mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook 40 min or until hot and cheese has melted. Garnish with diced tomatoes. Serve with a side of hot corn :)

They're super easy and super yummy!

Angels in my Life

Grandma Kay and Grandpa Gordon: Two of the sweetest people I know.
I couldn't ask for better grandparents and am extremely grateful to have them so close in my life.

Grandpa Gordon is so kind and caring and absolutely adores his sweetheart. And Grandma Kay is tiny, sweet, and hilarious! While my mom and Lissie were here we skyped with my dad and the boys in Germany and she loved it! You could really tell she missed her baby (my dad) and was so blown away with today's technology. (She went home raving about the webcam and got one from Santa this year!) ;)

They are so fun and I am so blessed to have them in my family's life - they are the greatest great grandparents and while Grandma Kay insists on calling our baby by her full name: Annabelle Sue, grandpa Gordon just calls her his lover-girl :)

We love you grandma & grandpa
